DISNEY CHALLENGE DAY #7: Your favorite villain I’M CHEATING I’M CHEATING I’M CHEATING THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A ~CLASSIC DISNEY MOVIE~ MEME BUT I DON’T CARE. Shego is my forever girl. Shego is everything I’ve ever wanted from a character. Shego is everything I want in a woman. Shego is flawless, Shego is perfect, Shego is the greatest cartoon villain ever to have graced television and general Disney canon. Let me tell you about Shego. Do you know what I love about the show Kim Possible? The reason why I loved that show so much was honestly due to the fact that Shego existed in this show. While I did enjoy Kim and Ron and the other villains, Shego was the main reason why I watched this show up until it ended. Twice. (So the Drama was the original finale, and then there was Graduation parts 1 and 2). Sure, the other villains were fine and dandy, but it was obviously Shego and Dr. Drakken who were the fan favourites. Shego’s Villainster page was the most visited out of all the KP villains. In fact, Shego (and by proxxy, Dr. D) worked so well as a character against Kim that she was made to be the second main antagonist after watching her and Dr. D interact. Originally Adrena Lynn was supposed to be Kim’s arch foe. Don’t remember her? Well that’s because she was only in one episode. That’s right, Shego’s so awesome that she kicked a potential main foe to the curb with her sheer amazingness as a character. I can honestly TL;DR about Shego forever and ever, but I won’t. But here’s why I love Shego, and why she’s my favourite villain and the reason why I’m saying “screw the rules” for this particular day in the meme. Shego is by far, one of the funnest and most menacing female baddies Disney has ever produced. Her fun and menace can only be rivaled by, say, Ursula and Mother Gothel. She’s sarcastic, witty, somewhat meta in the sense that she is oh-so-aware of what goes on in her world, and she’s just…she’s just…guh she’s the best. Her attitude is what kept me coming back to the show, her interactions with all the characters of the show (not just Kim and Drakken) were enjoyable to watch, and who didn’t enjoy her snarky input? We loved watching her say “I told you so”, we loved watching her act as one of the few mature villains this show had to offer, everyone loves Shego and anyone who says differently is a liar because how could you not like this character? And to top it all off, she’s hot. I want to marry her. I’m not even going to lie I have the biggest crush on Shego and will always have a crush on this HBIC. I also admire her as a fictional creation, enjoy her in action, and no movie Disney villain can compete with her in my mind. No I’m serious and I honestly don’t care if people try to argue. Honestly, when I was going through Disney movie villains it was down between Hades, Frollo, Facilier, Ursula, and Maleficent. I couldn’t pick just one. But suddenly my mind went to Shego and I said “fuck it” and put her down as my top favourite villain for this meme. And that’s the end of that. She’s the best of the best. End of story. 
DISNEY CHALLENGE DAY #6: Your favorite animal Diablo, Maleficent’s raven buddy from Sleeping Beauty. I tend to like animal companions that don’t talk in Disney movies, with the exception of The Lion King because all the animals talk. I liked the hummingbird in Pocahontas, Djali from HoND, and Maximus from Tangled. There are of course exceptions seeing as I hate both Meeko and Pascal, but me hating things is like saying the world is round. Anyway, there’s no…particular reason why Diablo is my favourite. Honestly I love a lot of the animal companions so I went with the first one that came to mind. I just always thought Diablo was a cool animal, and that was really it. I thought it was cute, but at the same time menacing and just cool to look at, and seeing as he’s not annoying I just really enjoyed looking at him when he was on screen. That’s really it. I like him for a shallow reason, but I don’t care because I always wanted a pet like Diablo. |
